What are protein domains?
Protein domains are distinct, identifiable regions of a protein whose functions or interactions often define the overall function of the protein (1). Protein domains are often conserved in homologs (1).
Protein domains within PINK1
Using various online tools, Pfam, SMART, InterPRo, and PROSITE, to search for PINK1 protein domains, I found a variety of representations of PINK1.
